The base is made of unfinished birch wood with plastic bearings that spin freely. The top is made of your choice of wood or acrylic. The wood colors (finished wood, white, black, and red) have a bottom layer of unfinished birch wood. The acrylic versions have a bottom layer of white acrylic.
The organizer measures approx. 4.5in square and slightly less than 1in tall from top to bottom. It holds up to 20 standard size floss bobbins and has 2 magnets to use as needle minders.
